ReplyDeleteMusic is an important part of my life.
Music is an important part of my life. Not really. Music is not my passion, but i used music only to keep my self occupied in boring moments. Such as going to school, or during when i do my homework. But music is only important to me when i am cycling or running because it helps me find my rhythm. All in all, music only causes me to be distracted because I can't really focus on the activity that i am doing. For instance during running or cycling there's pain in it, so that is why i need my music to get rid of the pain. But when i was growing up, music was an essential to me, because it had helped me to learn English, and sing. From the songs, my parents promote knowledge to me, I knew about this, because my parents had recorded some of my childhood activities.
ReplyDeleteMusic is an important part of my life. It makes me feel better when I am feeling down. I listen to music for most of the day. There are many kind of music and I listen to most of them. Of course, I mainly listen to the modern music including both japanese, american and also korean too but I like to listen to classical music as well. It helps me relaxing and concentrate. On the other hand, sometimes music help me to get inspiration; for example when I have a prompt to write for literature and I have no idea how or what to write. But, I wasn't interested in music at all before my teen. I did listen to it sometimes but it wasn't something that I particularly liked. Also my taste in music changed after moving to Japan; maybe because my environment changed.
ReplyDeleteMusic is an important part of my life. However, I was not familiar with music until I was like 6th grade. But then one day I saw this one guy playing piano and I realized that how music can touch one's heart. Right now I listen to classic alot but it's not like I hate rock or other pop musics that I used to listen. I still like them and they all have different characteristic. When I listen to rock, I become high and feel super excited. When I listen to rnb I'm on dance mood! and when I listen to classic, I feel ecstacy. Music just permeated into my life, and right now I feel like I can't do anything without music. I don't think I quite answered the question, but that's how I feel about music!
ReplyDeleteMusic is an important part of my life. When I was little, I used to learn some musical instruments. For an example, piano (for 6 years), violin (for 11 years), and trombone (for 1 year). Not only instruments, but I used to learn classic ballet, jazz dance, and hip hop. There fore, I love music related activities.
ReplyDeleteHow ever, I'm not a good musician, and I don't prefer playing instruments in front of people. I just love to listen to music and dance.
I think music shows our true personality. There fore, I love music, and if there is no music in this world, I will die. That's how much the music is important for me.

ReplyDeleteQualities that I look for in a friend...
Qualities that I look for in a friend is trustworthiness. Actually, I don't care what my friend looks like, or how much popular that person is. I just want to have a friend that I can trust very well. In my case, my best friend that I can trust is Remon. Although she acts weird, she is my best friend that I've ever had.
ReplyDeleteI remember a quote from a book that i read when I was small. It was something like, "you cannot choose a friend." And I agree to this. Friend is someone who you can trust, and be with. There fore, a person who play a hypocrite isn't my true friend.
Qualities that I look for in a friend is trustworthiness or maybe,,, honesty?
Jay- I think this is the first time that you wrote a proper answer. (jk)
ReplyDeleteanyway, I really do agree with your opinion. Music can move people's heart. That is why, I love to listen to music too.
Kana- Change of environment can cause you to change. It seems like listening to the music is one of the change you had. Like you said, I also love Japanese, American, and Korean music. OF COURSE I love classical music too. :)
Irfan- TRUE. Music can improve lots of things. Like you improved on your English, I think I improved on pronunciating the difficult words. Nice articleeeeeee
Qualities that I look in a friend is just a person that can make me smile. A person that can make me smile, is a good type of person because i like to smile and laugh. I do like people that is serious, but not to serious because they take the fun out of life. Also if i have a friend that can make me laugh, they can bring me up when I am down, or depress. Another quality that i look in a friend, is they can cover for me when I am in trouble. If i a person, gets me in trouble, I would lose the friendship because a friend should cover for each other. They need to be able to ride a bike, because i would like to travel and find new places on the bike. The last feature that i look in a friend, is that they can be there when i need them. For instance, if i am in trouble, doing my homework, my friend would be there to help me out. Overall, my friend needs to be a person that is there for me and can make me laugh.
ReplyDeleteQualities that I look in a friend is probably trust and comfort. For me, obviously trust comes the first. If someone was to be my friend, I would like to trust him/her without worrying about anything. For example, if I like someone, I would want talk about it especially when I'm feeling down and also when I'm feeling happy. I would want to share my emotions with those people but this will not be possible if I can't trust that person.
ReplyDeleteI would also want comfort with my friends because I don't want to be always worrying about what they think and want; at the same time, I don't want them to feel that way too. If I was to be with someone I like, I want to be relaxed and that way, they can be honest with me I think; so by asking for comfort I am asking for honesty as well.
For me, my friends are really important. Some people are obviously my best friend-kind of people to who I can tell anything (almost anything) but I still have a lot of other friends who I love talking to. Yet, if those friends seem to be avoiding me or not liking me I wouldn't really mind I guess, I might think about it a few times, wondering what did I do wrong? but not for a long time. But if my best friends did it, I wouldn't stop worrying about it and the problem here is that any, any small thing happening (which might not be done on purpose) affects me a lot and after that, everything seems like it's going the wrong way. I think I was alone at that point of time, I would start crying but usually it happens during school which in a way, distracts me.
Last one for this week:
ReplyDeleteI have a disability.
I have a disability to use my cell phone while walking. For some reason, I can’t type and call with my cell phone unless I stop walking. This is same with drinking water. I never can drink water while I’m walking. Isn’t this weird?
ReplyDeleteI also have a disability staying up late and study. For some reason, if it’s pass 22:00, my mood will get down. Remon, who is my best friend has a same habit. Any way, I can never stay up late. However, I’m totally fine on early mornings. I don’t have any problem waking up on 4 am in the morning.
Am I weird?
yes.
ReplyDeleteQualities that I look for in a friend is probably comfort. Whenever or wherever I with that friend if I feel comfortable and just be myself, that is the friend I can rely on! other quality I look for is trust. No matter that person is funny or not, if he/she's not trustful, I don't think I can truly rely on that friend. But well I don't think there's such thing as 'quality' when we look for a friend. I mean you know when you get to know a new person, you don't always get close with that person just because you think that person is the friend you are looking for. Sometimes you just talk to that random person and somehow even though his/her quality is not something that you are looking for, you can still be really close. I mean there's billions of people living in the Earth. And they all thave differnt different qualities, and if you look for only certain qualities, I think you will be end up with having very few friends.
ReplyDeleteI have a disability. I always drop something without noticing anything. These days, it is getting better but if I don&t pay attention at all, I will for sure lose something. For example, the subway ticket; one time, I forgot my sapica so I bought a ticket to go home and I was with my friends. Until my station, I was talking to friends..etc. so I totally forgot about my ticket. When I arrived in front of the ticket gate, I realized that I totally forgot about my ticket that I was supposed to be holding. I check my hands, I don't have it. I check my pocket, I don't have it. I check my wallet, I don't have it. I check my bag, I don't have it.
ReplyDeleteI was panicking. Then, I had to call the station man and tell him that I lost my ticket. I think that was one of the most embarassing moments of my life. I was actually lucky and the man was really nice. When I told him that I lost it he believed me and let me go out of the gate without paying extra money. So these days, I really pay attention to my surrounding and still, I lose a lot of thing.. Recently, I lost my eraser that has "this belongs to K.I." written on the side in blue? I guess.. So if you find it please tell me~ (by the way it's a mono eraser)
1. Music is an important part of my life. I start a day listening to some music everyday, and I finish my day listening to some music. I would love to listen to classic music, but since I have no radio in my house, I only download some music on the billboard chart to my mp3 player. I check out billboard chart periodically, so that I can listen to the latest pop-music. Some musicians may say pop-music is nothing but a piece of garbage compare to classic music, but I enjoy them a lot anyway.
ReplyDelete2. Quality I look for in a friend is being oneself. Because I believe everyone is very characteristic in their own way, and they are all beautiful, all I want the friend to be is being herself. She needs to, or try hard to be completely herself that she does not care about what other people think of her. If you are yourself, you are putting too much time improving yourself that you do not even have time to criticize others. Then that person would have her vision that she pushes herself. That person would be trustworthy. That person would be nice and open to everyone, and very creative.
3. I have a disability. I have had it since I got hit by a car severely when I was ten years old. I broke all of parts of my body, so I had to be in a hospital for 7 years. Since then, I have a disability to listen to animals talking. I mean, this ability is not what normal people usually have, so it is a form of disability, right? I realized this disability when I bought my first pet, a hamster. One night, I heard a grumpy voice that said, “Ugh, man, this sunflower seed tastes so weird. I wish I have fresh almond instead of this shit.” I was so surprised I looked around, and I found out that my hamster said it! I went close to the cage, and looked at my hamster again. It looked at me back, and I saw it clearly that it said again, “Ew, what is this animal? It has no fur on its skin. Gross.” That was when I realized I had that power to listen to animals talking. This disability is so annoying I wish I can be cured soon, or else I might go insane because of all the murmurs of animals I hear wherever I go.
YESSS!! Finally my computer "allowed" me to post it! Sorry, Ms. Koga and my friends, I could not post anything for a while, but it works again now! :D
ReplyDeletemrs.koga IM NOT lol
ReplyDeleteJae ok- WHATTTTT!! I NEVER KNEW ABOUT THAT!!!
I really want to have that ability... I'm so jealous!! ALSO, I didn't know that you broke your body and was hospitalized for 7 years!!!!!
Irfan, I think it was funny that you said music is not that important part of your life. I think it would be really great if music becomes a part of your life because it really helps you to control your emotions.
ReplyDeleteKana, it is really good that you enjoy music from three countries. I personally can’t stand Japanese music, and even Korean music does not attract me that much. And I am glad that you enjoy classic music, too.
Jay, I was surprised that you were not familiar with music till you were in the 6th grade. Your voice was amazing in the Griot concert, and you are also good at playing the piano. I thought you liked music since you were in 2nd or 3rd grade.
Jerang, I am very impressed that you learned how to play piano, violin, and trombone. It would be so cool to watch you playing trombone. I heard it was so hard to play trombone because it requires strong breadth or something.
I have a disability. I think i don't have a disability, because i always consider my self as a perfect human being. Although i am a bit skinny, i always think I am the most perfect and beautiful man, that people had seen. But if I had to say so, I think my disability is i can't do anything with music except listening to it. The reason i say so, is because i can't read notes, play any musical instrument and sing in a proper pitch.
ReplyDeleteJae ok-
ReplyDeleteexactely the same as jerang! i didn't know you had that disability ! isn't it fun listening to animals?? Well yea.. it might be annoying..
jerang- really? If I was to stay up late, I would rather do something else than studying!! like reading, playing games.. etc. and I dont get how you can get up so early..
irfan-you should try joining choir; you'll know if you can sing the right pitch or not !
jay- I really agree with the qualities of your friends. I would not really want to be with people who I always have to worry if anything goes fine...
I have a disability whenever I do my homeworks. As most of people do, I feel really good before I start my homeworks. But then once I start it, I feel really tired and sleepy. This is how I am feeling right now. I just sit down right aftr taking shower. I felt fresh and all that but then right now I am so sleepy that I don't really know what am I writting right now. But well I have to finish posting this and then gta do tweentribune. But just because I am sleepy it doesn't mean I am not doing my homework properly. I do my best to answert this question.
ReplyDeleteJae-Ok - oh so you come back! yay nice! but then we only have one more week to do this homework!
ReplyDeleteKana - That happens to me too! Sometimes eventhough I drop my stuff, I still don't notice and just lost it. Sometimes kind people pick it up and give
Jerang - yuh you are
Irfan - Irfan the perfect. Well since you are saying that, I got nothing to say lol.
Kana- I think your comment on your disability, is something that i developed this year. Forgetting things, is a thing that keep coming to me, also its like spacing out for me.
ReplyDeleteJae-Ok- I like your comment on the friend quality that you seek for. I think their real personality is important.
Jerang- Yes you are weird
Jay- I agree with your concept that you see in a friend.
